Audi Quattro Pikes peak '87

In 1987 Audi once again dominated the Pikes peak international Hillclimb with Walter Röhrl behind the wheel.

Aggressive aerodynamics

Modifications were made to the Audi Quattro S1E2 to greatly enhance it's aerodynamic grip. Huge spoilers were added at the front and rear of the car, helping the car stick to the ground.

This helped Audi set a new record of 10 minutes and 47 seconds, beating their previous time by 22 seconds.
